Core infrastructure has been built for an open data economy. Given this, how do people sustain and thrive in the emerging data economy? One practical answer is simple yet powerful: ensure that they can make money! But what does that mean? What specific actions can be taken? A practical answer is: create value from data, make money from that value, and loop back and reinvest this value creation into further growth. We call this the "data value-creation loop". This talk will introduce and elaborate upon the data value-creation loop, and how its framing can lead to practical actions.
